Day 86: colours
In Act 3, the Royal Family wakes up after 100 years to find that they are not as wealthy as they once were, and so are living off their effects in smart hotels across Europe. To reflect this change, designer Antony McDonald uses only four main colours in Act 3: emerald green, royal blue, red and turquoise, as you can see in the guests’ costumes.
