100 Days of The Sleeping Beauty
Day 92: Fairies in folklore
In The Sleeping Beauty, the fairies of the forest bring gifts to Aurora. However,
fairies have different legends in different countries. In many old Scottish tales, the fairies are responsible for very dark deeds like snatching babies, changing the form of adults and children, and setting curses on those that displease them, so people often left cakes, butter and cream to please the fairies.
